Domestic and sexual violence are acts of power and control and are not caused by the survivor. Domestic and sexual violence do not discriminate all races, ethnicities, socioeconomic statuses, genders, and religions are effected. LACADA offers free and confidential services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. LACADA provides a non-judgmental supportive environment for survivors to feel safe to discuss options available to him/her to address his/hers immediate and long-term needs.
Safe Shelter for those who are no longer safe in their home due to intimate partner violence.
Lacada assists survivors in regaining safety and control in their lives, through vital inforamtion and referrals, safety planning, and ways to begin healing.
You are not alone. Support Groups provide a safe oppurtunity for survuvors of Domestic Violence to build friendships, support, and begin healing from the abuse that has occurred.
Our program provides one-to-one and group support for children of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Legal Advocates at LACADA are able to provide support and information to survivors who are going through criminal charges against the abuser/assailant, criminal charges against the survivor, obtaing abd enforcing a Personal Protection Order, divorce and custody options and proceedings and Friend of the Court proceedings.
Whether a survivor is currently living with his/her assailant or he/she are in another location it is important that a survivor has a thought through safety plan in place.
