Volunteer:

LACADA relies heavily on the generous contributions of time and energy given by its dedicated volunteers.  Volunteers assist us in providing a wide variety of services including answering crisis hotline, providing crisis intervention and support services to surivors and thier children.

Proir to becoming a volunteer, individuals are asked to complete a Volunteer Application and meet with a LACADA staff person to discuss LACADA services and policies regarding volunteering and to assess whether or not this is the right volunteer opportunity for you.  Volunteers then participate in over 12 hours of intensive training covering: answering the crisis hotline, crisis intervention, supportive listening, domestic violence and sexual assault, safety planning, and referrrals.

For more information on volunteering, please call 810-667-4193 or stop by our Outreach Office to request a volunteer application.
