"Friends" of LACADA is a group of compassionate individuals
whom help meet the special and immediate needs of the shelter
year round. Each month through email and the LACADA website
the "Friends" are informed of the shelter needs,
each "Friends" may choose one or more items off the list and drop
them off at a designated spot located within the community.
Examples of the items the "Friends" may provide are blankets,
towels, food and personal care items. Another valuable contribution
of the "Friends" is their assistance and/or organizing of LACADA’s
fundraising activities including the annual "Taste of Lapeer".
